The Big Pink played at 7th st entry in Minneapolis last night, Milo's friend Dean who runs True Panther sounds left Milo a message at the backstage. Sweet!

After that we went to someone's house to party harder. The flat was very posh and reminded me of this house party me and my friend VSO(vic strap on) went to in Glasgow while ago.
So here's the story of what me and Vic did at the posh flat in GLASGOW.
Me and Vic opened their fridge, found a whole roast chicken and Danone Yogurt drink, I poured Danone on top of the chicken as gravy and ate it. Since then "Hmmmm Danone... " became me and Vic's catch phrase, just like "Cool Beans" with The Big Pink.

Anyway, me and Vic were so wasted that somehow set the fire alarm, we had a massive TV ariel and scratched their walls while we were evacuating, fire brigade tuned up just before we escaped the building to avoid getting in trouble. it was 5am...

so this place reminded me of "Hmmmm Danone...""Hmmmm Danone..."

I was so hungry, so me and Milo stopped at White Castle.

We are in Minneapolis today. The Big Pink tour bus doesn't have a shower, we are not even allowed to take shit in the toilet. Only fluid. No toilet paper either. We had a hotel last night, we had a good wash.

Today we stopped in Clearlake, at the surf ballroom. The last place where Buddy Holly played a show before his plane crashed, killing him, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens.

He got his car vacuumed because he knew he was gonna be driving Kevin Costner around .. after he left kev .. he found this pebble in his car . .. he has now framed it! freak.

24 hour party people

We are in Denver today. Freezing outside. San Diego was so warm. But here we have snow on the road. It took us 24 hours driving to get here from San Diego where we played the night before. We partied for the whole journey in the bus...We left San Diego at 3am, the first time we stopped and got out of the bus for quick break was 12pm.

I'm in America touring with The Big Pink since Wedenesday, I'm switching off my phone and not replying to emails I'm receiving. I can't deal with anything at the moment, it's been too much. I just want to be on the road playing shows every night not worrying about anything else. This is my room on Tuesday, the day before I flew to America. What a state.

It's been a hectic week. I nearly lost it completely. I've been working more than a human being can cope with. No time for toilet, No time for eating, No time for breathing. Tuesday morning I had a photoshoot for NME in my room, This is Tom the photographer.

Tuesday Midday, The big pink went to BBC studio for Later with Jools show. Backstage, Milo shaved his beard off.

Adam played bass, I cut his hair.

All day in the studio, I was also doing 2 interviews for Comanechi in between break time, so there weren't any break for me.

Wednesday morning, on the way to Heathrow airport, there was a road accident, we nearly missed our flight.
