Beyond Retro

Comanechi played at Beyond Retro, Clothes Shop in East London today. I was so hang over from the party last night(this morning), We had a special guest drummer, Alex on "My Pussy" song. We never rehearsed, I sent him the mp3 a couple days ago and asked him if he could play the drums for us. He was like, "You joking!?!" I said "No...". He then said, "I'd love to".
When we went through the song at sound check he told me he was nervous. But he played amazingly. He was so so good. Great beat. I really want him to do it again sometime soon, maybe when we support Gossip show at Shepard's Bush Empire in March 21st. would be super cool...
きょうコマネチ昼の３時から古着屋でギグ、今朝パーティー６時まで行ってたからまだ酔った状態で服も昨日とそんまんまで３０分遅れて演奏開始。
あんまり覚えてない。
でもアレックスめちゃめちゃドラム上手かった。音合わせちょっとしただけで、もうぶっつけ本番！　叩くビートがめちゃよかった。
で、終了後また見に来てくれた友達とパブに飲みに行く、でももうめちゃ疲れてたし、コーヒー２杯飲んで帰って来た。
今日見に来てくれたお友達ホンマありがとう。古着屋のマネージャーがコマネチが一番お客の数多かったって言ってくれた。私らの１バンドだけであんだけ人が集まってくれて、私も嬉しかった。誰も来んと思ってたのに。

Mouse Boiler

I drowned a mouse to death with hotwater just now.... I didn't mean to do that. well... actually, I wanted it to die. We have mice and they have been eating our food. When I moved into Millers we used to have cockroaches too, but they are gone, our house is much cleaner now since I moved in. Sharing house with 3 boys can be very messy and dirty, I'm not complaining, cuz Ben, Scott & Dan are the coolest house mates and living with them is really fun.
Anyway, me and Ben were at home, I asked Ben to pick up and chuck it in the bin. But he was scared to do it, he refused to do it.
OK. I'll do it. Fuck! I'm scared too, but I have to do it. I can't leave the dead mouse floating in the sink for another 6 hrs till Dan or Scott come back from work.....
I picked up a colander to pick the dead mouse, then the mouse moved! FUCKK!!!!!!!! It was alive.... but I was glad,. I didn't kill it, I'm not a murderer. I had to save the mouse, he looked so cute, I picked him up and went outside and released him...... he ran away....
Please don't come back, EVER.

Why is this not the biggest band in the world right now?
The singer is fucking amazing and hilarious. Much cooler than G G Allin. - So Punk.
They are not the biggest because the singer sings in Japanese, they can't concur the world...
Even he sings in English, they wouldn't be able to be the biggest, because majority of people in the world are dumb and can't catch up on his cleverness. His sense of humor is too genius for most of people.

クリトリックリスは日本一いや、世界で一番でっかくなるべきやと思う、(本人はそんなこと目標にしてないと思うけど）今年は紅白狙って出場して欲しい。大阪の会社員スギムことクリトリックリス。めっちゃフツーのお人好しな中年のおっさんやのに、もう笑いのセンス無敵。この人ほんま世界救えそう。

This is my friend's Nilina's blog, well.... this story she wrote on her blog below is how we met, it's kind of weird, but true. World is getting small.Not on the guest list

I came back to London as planned that night, only Dev did not, which I didn't learn of until after 1am. Due to Rene not transferring money into his bank account, Dev's phone bill did not get paid and he was levied a 300 pound fine and was no longer able to make outgoing calls. That caused a big kink in everything. Cue me outside his flat until near 4am (while hoards of foxes ran around having their fun) until I knocked on random doors at his direction on my mobile and ended up sleeping in the kitchen of Millers care of PRE and Comanechi's Akiko. That was sehr fun - she was recording, so we rewrote a song of hers, talked some Karen O solo material and had toast. Oh, and she cut her foot, but didn't feel it and thought she'd just stepped in ketchup so there was a trail of blood all over the floor.

Not on the guest list は私の友達ニリーナのブログ。友達って言っても最近知合って、しかもアメリカのポートランド出身。このまた私らの出会いが世界は狭いな〜って思わせるんね。上の文章はニリーナのブログからで、
そこに出会いのあらすじが書いてます。
まあ、内容はと言うと（上の文章は邪魔臭いので訳しません、ここでわたしの文章になるけど、ニリーナの文章英語で読めない人もここで分かります）
ニリーナはフォトグラファーで、わたしの友達そしてニリーナの友達でもあるDev ことLightspeed Championのツアー写真を撮ってたわけ、でその日の夜はロンドンから電車で１時間程のブライトンでDevのライブがあって演奏後ニリーナはバスで先にロンドンに戻ってDev は終電でロンドンに戻って彼の家で泊まる事になってた。けどDev が終電を見過ごしたのでニリーナは泊まる所がなくなった。
でDev が携帯で私の家の方向へニリーナを歩かせた。もう朝の４時！　ちなみにDev ん家はわたしの近所。わたしはそんな事知らずその夜は夜なべして宅音一人でしてた。朝の４時に玄関のドア誰かがノック。他のハウスメイト３人はもう寝てる。
怪しいけど「誰？」って言って玄関まで行った。そしたら外から聞き覚えのない女の子の声で「Dev の友達やねんけど、家泊めてもらえる？」って。ドアを開けて、Dev からの電話で理由を聞いてニリーナを泊めてあげた。
ニリーナが訪れる数時間前、夜中の２時、一人夜なべして宅録中、温かい飲み物が欲しくなってキッチンにお湯を沸かしに行った、その瞬間台所の床で足の裏に何か刺さった。
うううう〜〜わむっちゃ痛い、って見たらマグカップの破片踏んでた。
その破片をゴミ箱に捨てに行ってお湯湧かして部屋に戻ろうとしたら、又何かめっちゃヌルッってしたやつ踏んだ。みたらケチャップべっと〜。
泣きっ面に蜂 、もう最悪！とか思いながら素足をそのままカーペットにこすって部屋に戻って行ったけど、まだ足気持ち悪い。 って見たら足の裏からダラダラ血流れてるやん！！！！
刺さったマグカップの破片でオモックソ切れとってん。 ケチャップちゃうかってん、自分の血やってん。
ティッシュで拭きながら台所戻ってみたら床にボトボト血の痕跡。 血も止まらん。
ホンマこの家大好きでハウスメイトも世界一ええ奴らやねんけどもう汚いねん、貧乏やし。割ったらちゃんと破片キレイに拾っとけや！

John Peel Jr.

ゴーグル似合てっるでしょ？

PRE had a radio session tonight. John Peel's son Tom Ravenscroft 's radio show on channel 4 radio called New Music Download. Our drummer had a separate room and it was so hard to play together. We recorded 5 tracks, "Fuk is Fun", "Dude Fuk" "And Prolapse..." "Dweller" & "White Castle", check out and listen to the radio website in a few weeks time.

イギリスではもう誰もが知っているラジオのDJ故ジョンピール。その息子のトムラヴェンスクロフトの新ラジオ番組のセッションが今日あった。ドラマーが別の部屋で演奏せんとあかんかったから結構音合わせるんむずかった。

The staff were all very nice, we could sing songs with "fuck" in. We always find hard to pick songs for radio shows, there aren't many songs haven't got any swear words in our songs.

みんなええ人や〜　ラジオと言ってもオンラインなのでファックを入れても全然オッケーでした。
ファックの入ってない曲の方が少ないのでラジオセッションはいつも大変です。

Nobody reads my blog, I haven't told many people about my blog. Nothing is on it really. But I like updating it, I hope friends can enjoy reading it. Friends I don't see so often can also feel close to me and can see what I've been up to....

アンディーはVICE MAGAZINEの編集長でいつも私の事を可愛がってくれる、いっつもご飯連れてってくれる。明日も誘ってくれた。
アンディーのこと怖がってる人いっぱいいるけど、雑誌に書く事も辛口やし顔無表情やし。でもほんとは凄く情の厚い人やねん。

My friend Andy who is the editor of Vice Magazine UK, He always looks after me really well. I really like him.
A lot of people think he is scary, because he writes abusive stuff and he looks like some kind of bad mafia, but he is the kindest person I know and he's funny.

CODE

CODE Magazine featured Comanechi, I'm on the cover! (first time i'm on a front cover too!)
It's Dutch Magazine, so not sure where you can find in this country, but it's sold in Japan, my friends told me I was on the cover of CODE, I didn't even know that, I asked the editor to send me a copy, I got it today!
The problem is I can't read Dutch, and I can't remember what the questions and my answers were, Can anyone help me...? CODE Magazine
