i saw that movie, my sister got it. and i know the manga. do you love it?
lol me neither, still i've watched both nana I and II a couple of times. the music sucks so much and they're both kinda ugly chicks, hachiko is kinda ok but rockstar nana.. ugly =P

does rockstar have to be good looking?

well keex, have you seen a movie called 'linda linda linda' (after blue hearts song) ? that's actually a much better movie than nana, it's got aki maeda and duna bae in it, also the bassist from baseball bear. it's a really good movie and they do a good job at covering blue hearts.
i'm not a hypocrit, people don't have to be pretty to be good musicians, but watching a movie it's more enjoyable if they look good. i don't lie about that

i'm scared watching any bands copying their songs, but i'll watch it as you recommended.
by the way, i actually think rockstar nana in the movie is really pretty.
she's not ugly at all in my eye. ;P
different tastes innit ? i'm an aki maeda fan, seeing her play drums is so cool, you might think linda linda is a bit cheesy, it reminds me of my high school band, they don't ruin the blue hearts songs..but you might feel different; ;-)
