Yeah Yeah Yeahs & Comanechi show in Hamburg, 07/07/09

Karen said on stage, this is for Comanechi and she sang "Maps"... I cried A.G.A.I.N!!!

SO..... We had a insane journey getting into Hamburg. We left house at 4 am to London Stansted Airport for 7am flight, but we missed our flight, there weren't any other flights till 8am, So we had to find another option, we found one in Luton Airport departing at 3:30pm arriving in Hamburg at 6pm. SO we booked the new tickets and drove to Luton.
It was really stressful, there was no other option to get there just about to make it to out show time.
My friend Miriam was with us she wanted to come to Hamburg and have fun, She's amazing, she's like my personal manager, she helps me doing my make up, do styling for me, and when we got stuck in the airport, she was the one asking the staff to jump in the queue to make it to the flight etc, (but we still managed to miss the flight), but then Miriam looked for another flights and other options to get to Hamburg on her i Phone, when we were stressing out, she looked so chilled out. she's so cool. We were like "we can't cancel this show, we are definitely gonna make it to Hamburg" and We made it!

These guys cooked very nice dinner for yyys & comanechi.They baked this lovely cake as well, they were like Jamie Olivers recipie and were so so tasty.

Karen gave me a piece of her outfit she was wearing on stage, made by Christian Joy. This rippied scarf thing, Karen put it round my neck and said, "You can have it, it suits you, sorry it's wet with my sweat" I was so so happy and over the moon and I kept sniffing it in front of her. Nick has the matching T shirt.

After the show, we all went for a drink in Cobra Bar and we danced to Micheal Jackson.
then we walked round red light district and kept changing bars and carried on drinking stayed up all night, Comanechi crew (me, Simon & Miriam) left to airport at 6am, we were so drunk. Miriam puked up in the aeroplane, there wasn't a sick bag so she puked up in her hand and that made me feel puking up, I was gagging with her sick smell.
We had a great fun, there were no boring bits. I'm such a lucky bastard.
Thank you so much to Yeah Yeah Yeahs, I love them so much, they are an amazing band, they are a very nice bunch of people, they are fun. I just can't tell you in words how great feeling I was given by them. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
