soundcheck at 7:30pm last night

then the promoter took us to dinner

this is my favorite pre starter, you rub tomato juice, garlic & drizzle olive oil on toast and eat it, it's simple but so tasty

we had lots of starters, I was already so full with them

I chose lobster with rice for main dish, it was so yum.

it was adam's birthday yesterday, so we had a surprise cake for him.

Then I had an interview with Emiliano after, this is him.

He emailed me if he could have an interview for his blog Circ Bengay when I come to play in Barcelona. I accepted it because I checked out his blog and I liked it, also the stuff he said on the email was nice, here's what he said.

"I’m a regular reader of your blog…I don’t know, it's like being part of something, it makes me feel good and alive. "
He asked me about music, dreams, being in multiple rock bands, circus freaks, blogging etc etc…

then he gave me a present, he made me a mix CD with a specail cover. I was really pleased, all the tracks he put on was really good bands'. oh. also he gave me a chuppa chups tropical flavor, apparently we can't get it in England.

not sure if you can see them properly but I got 6 blisters from drumming so much hitting really hard. I keep breaking sticks...
I sometimes throw sticks at the audience only because they are all broken ones which I can't use anymore, I never throw sticks they are still usable, I never waste them. Sometimes I get asked to give my sticks from fans, but I say No I can't. Not because I've been mean, because drum sticks are not cheap!

Anyway... we stayed till the club ended, we all got so wasted, we went back to our hotel after and carried on drinking. I got so high and couldn't get to sleep at all. I was feeling so rough, we had to check out our hotel room at midday so I went to the hotel swimming pool and dived into it with my dress on to refresh myself.

it really worked. I felt great.

we left hotel at 4:30pm to catch our flight going back to London,
it's nearly mid night now, I've just got back home. I still haven't fell asleep at all, I wanted to have a nap on the plane, but I couldn't... I'm still feeling ok and I'm still awake... I really have no idea how I go through this all the time...
The Big Pink is playing in Bestival tomorrow. We get picked up at 9am, we play at 7:30pm and coming back on the day, probably be back in London really late night....
