Hmmm Danone!

The Big Pink played at 7th st entry in Minneapolis last night, Milo's friend Dean who runs True Panther sounds left Milo a message at the backstage. Sweet!
after the show we DJed at this club, I forgot the name of the place.

After that we went to someone's house to party harder. The flat was very posh and reminded me of this house party me and my friend VSO(vic strap on) went to in Glasgow while ago.
So here's the story of what me and Vic did at the posh flat in GLASGOW.
Me and Vic opened their fridge, found a whole roast chicken and Danone Yogurt drink, I poured Danone on top of the chicken as gravy and ate it. Since then "Hmmmm Danone... " became me and Vic's catch phrase, just like "Cool Beans" with The Big Pink.
Anyway, me and Vic were so wasted that somehow set the fire alarm, we had a massive TV ariel and scratched their walls while we were evacuating, fire brigade tuned up just before we escaped the building to avoid getting in trouble. it was 5am...
so this place reminded me of "Hmmmm Danone...""Hmmmm Danone..."
"Hmmm Danone!"

We had to go back to our bus before 6am to leave Minneapolis,
I was so hungry, so me and Milo stopped at White Castle.
Drive Through @ 5am
No.2 & No.5 please!
We are Chicago now. I slept through the whole journey.

I love Chicago so much. I ended up going to a hardcore show in some kid's garage over there and saw a band called ABRADE, check them out, pure grind.

I meant to check out some restaurant that had burgers named after metal bands, but never got the chance :(

I still got realllllly fat on pizza though, I couldn't fit into any of my jeans when I got back home.

Harvey Pekar's mate, Toby Radloff, the Genuine Nerd loves White Castle cheeseburgers. They are his ultimate favourite.

Chicken and Yoghurt sounds, well i’ll be honest it sounds bad, but maybe you will become a trend setter and people will start buying Yoghurt especially so they can have it with their roast chicken. They could call it Chickhurt or Roast Yoghen. It might be a Gastronomic sensation with hundreds of restaurants opening up all over the world. You should claim commercial ownership of the idea and force the restaurants to change their name to Akiko’s Roast Yoghen! You could be rich! Are you already rich? Probably not as i saw the photo’s of the mould on your walls, rich people don’t live in close proximity to mould, especially when it is eating the wall holding their house up.

Did the catch phrase “cool beans” come around because you and your Big Pink bandmates ate cold beans? I may try to come up with some culinary based catch phrases with my friends and see if they catch on.

I liked the look of Chicago, very picturesque. Do you think you will still have your blog in 60 years so you can show your grandkids the crazyness of your youth?

I should probably stop asking questions on your comments page.

Posh flat? That's an exceedingly kind way to describe my loft. It was fun partying with you guys. I had the worst hangover possible for Thanksgiving. I hope you guys slept it off on the way to Chicago. Come back to Minneapolis again!
