After that, I dropped by Merok office to autograph 20 copies of Comanechi LP for File-Under Records. It was Already 1:30pm. Time to go to Comanechi rehearsal starting at 2pm. I rushed to the studio. A good workout walking to the studio from my house carrying a snare, cymbals, laptop and my heavy make-up bag, all of those together - so fucking heavy. Then 3 hrs drumming & singing.
Drummer from Yuk below, they were rehearsing at the same studio. I thought he's got a huge presence.
We had rehearsals yesterday and today, straight after coming back from America touring with The Big Pink. Fucking intense. straight after the rehearsal our van came to pick us & our gear up to go straight to the Fact Party at the basement of Phonica record store. Comanechi had a Live set.
The space was really cool. It was like a huge open warehouse. The lighting was really nice too.
8pm, I still hadn't had chance to have any food or rest. I hate complaining, but I was pretty knackered feeling endless. We played at 9pm. It was a good show, we hadn't played for a while so it was also a good warm up show for tomorrow's album release party.My first meal for the day at 10pm at Boadean's. I love Boaden's.
This is Noam who works for Merok, he came with us in the van. We both had Bodean's.
He was so drunk, I think he drank loads because the party served FREE BOOZE.
There were pictures Noam took of the Comanechi set, but they were all unbelievably crap that I'm not posting any of it.Back home. Big day tomorrow. GG, you coming tomorrow? You plus one are already on the list with AAA passes.
