Comanechi had a photo shoot & interview for Loud & Quiet Magazine. It was a really fun shoot. They told us that they never had a band who turned up to a shoot with their costume changes, we had a rucksack each. The next issue is coming out in 3 weeks time nation wide. Free magazine, you can pick up in record shops, bars, venues...

Maybe some of people who just read my blog think that I'm making alright money doing well in the music scene.
Fuck No.
As I hate money, as long as I can survive I'll carry on what I love doing.
But money is the one of my problems that making me feel crap.

My bank account is in a big debt for more than 2 years. I have to use my credit card all the time. (it's not because I'm spending lots /wasting money)
Even if I made loads of money I wouldn't know what to do with it.
I don't have a big desire to buy a posh house..., I don't have a desire to buy an expensive bottle of wine.
What I want isn't "A thing". What I want isn't something money can buy. Never.
But having some money is definitely better than not having.

I want to buy my friends drink. I don't want my friends to always buy me drink.
I don't want my friends to think that they always buy me drink but I don't do back enough in return. It's not "I don't." It's because "I can't". I feel like I'm loosing my friends.

Having said that sometimes I splash out money all at once just like "FUCK IT!!!" because I hate money. I spend loads even I can't afford... I spent like 50 euros for lunch in Ibiza just because everyone else was doing it. (*not everyone) I wanted to have some nice food with everyoneelse too.

If I had money, I'll buy you drink, I'll take you to nice restaurants. Because I really want to.
I want to go out. I wanna buy you drink. I really do. I want to.

Instead, I can make sure that I'll do good things for you to make you happy which noonelese can do like I do....

I'll make sure I keep on making good music, I'll be the most fun to be with. I won't make you bored. I'll be an amazing musician, I'll always be there for you when you need me. I want to be the best at what I'm good at.

I'm not bitter about being poor . Because "Things" "Numbers" "Looks" will blind inside people's hearts. I'm also the one being blind. SO many people are blind.

I'm not a buddha. I'm bitchy sometimes, noone is perfect. But I care about my friends I love.
Remember, if anything happens to you, I'll be the one save you.

Damn it!!!!

My house mate Bob started his blog now, it's already looking good. He's also putting up GG on it and he takes way better GG pictures than mine! Dammit!! Also he's got a blackberry with a camera, so he can update his blog straight away from his phone. Dammit x 2!!!

Homework

Keong of comanechi press sent me the scan of this week's NME yesterday.
Loverman on the list as well is Adam's band who plays bass in the big pink instead of Leo at the moment, also Kindness on the list as well is Adam (different Adam) who used to live at my house. Infamous Millers. it's cool that we are on it together.Milo came round asking me to cut his hair, he had the new NME in his hand. Then I found out that the big pink article was in it too,Milo & Robbie went to Ireland to attend Milo's sisters wedding yesterday, I had a look Milo's suits to choose shoes for him. He looks great.

While they are away I'm doing lots of homework for comanechi.... I finished off translating lyrics in Japanese lastnight, it took me forever... it was harder than I thought, I nearly went mental. Trying to say in Japanese in the same way we say in English is hard to do... also there were so many words that I don't want my mum and dad to read. like... "you suck big cock...." so simple and easy to translate this in Japanese OBVIOUSLY. but I struggled so much... I mean, my mum and dad probaby would work out what it mean in English anyway... oh, fuck it.

Riffing out in my bed room... more song writing, Comanechi is releasing a single on another label in the next year, the dead line of the cover artwork is real soon. (we'll reveal more info and the label nearer the release time x) so much work before I go on tour with the Big Pink.

I gave GG a treat of sardine fillet tonight.

This is my new favorite drink, Rubicon watermelon flavor.

The Big Pink played on the French TV music TV show called "Album de la semaine "Yesterday, Broadcast in 2 weeks time.

8:30pm time to record. We had audience in the studio, we played 7 songs just like how we play normally live. One take.

The first time we ever played for TV show, it was a great experience...

We signed on our setlist, the studio have a wall completely covered with all the set lists by bands played on the TV show.

We were all very hungry, I hadn't eaten all day either... We went to a French restaurant near our hotel after the show, this is my bag full of sweets.

It was already 11pm when we got to the restaurant. Beggers/4AD took us here, I can't remember the name of the restaurant.
