Detroit Rock City

Hey, this is for you Lloyd, I went back to the burger place in Chicago where all the burgers on the menu are named after Metal bands. I wanted to order the new burger called Sleep, but the restaurant was so busy that I only had a couple of drinks there.
Back in the venue, Robbie, Leo, our tour manager Murray and our camera man Rob had tattoos done. This is Robbie's new Metallica tattoo.

Empty Bottle had a black cat, this is the picture with me and the black cat from last October when PRE played at Empty Bottole, but he wasn't there this time, he died at age 18. He was old.
this black cuddly cat below was on the shelf at the bar for the memory for the black cat.

We partied in our bus till 7 in the morning, we all passed out till we got to Detroit at 4pm.We went straight to get some food.

Milo & Leo ordered Dr. pepper BBQ sauced pork burger. Bad Ass.

Back in the venue Empty Bottle where we are playing tonight.
Leo got a tattoo of Rocket, for the memory of his nephew Rocket who died when he was 2, he was ill.

How becoming friends is funny, last October when PRE was in Chicago, Aya and me walked pass each other in front of Damen station, the day PRE played at empty bottle, I didn't know her, we both looked at each other in the eyes. I received a message on Comanechi Myspace from her in the evening saying "I think I saw you in front of Damen station in Chicago, was that you? What are you doing in Chicago? Is Comanechi touring in America???"
So I messaged her back telling that I'm in another band PRE playing at Empty Bottle tonight. I put her on the guest list to come to see us, that's how we became friends. I sent her message to come to see The Big Pink tonight. Hope she comes.

Hmmm Danone!

The Big Pink played at 7th st entry in Minneapolis last night, Milo's friend Dean who runs True Panther sounds left Milo a message at the backstage. Sweet!

after the show we DJed at this club, I forgot the name of the place.

After that we went to someone's house to party harder. The flat was very posh and reminded me of this house party me and my friend VSO(vic strap on) went to in Glasgow while ago.
So here's the story of what me and Vic did at the posh flat in GLASGOW.
Me and Vic opened their fridge, found a whole roast chicken and Danone Yogurt drink, I poured Danone on top of the chicken as gravy and ate it. Since then "Hmmmm Danone... " became me and Vic's catch phrase, just like "Cool Beans" with The Big Pink.

Anyway, me and Vic were so wasted that somehow set the fire alarm, we had a massive TV ariel and scratched their walls while we were evacuating, fire brigade tuned up just before we escaped the building to avoid getting in trouble. it was 5am...

so this place reminded me of "Hmmmm Danone...""Hmmmm Danone..."
