I ♥ Tacos

The Big Pink are in San Diego, playing Casbah tonight. Last day of our US tour. We have a show in Coachella on Sunday and one more show in Mexico before we fly back to LDN.
I'm so overwhelmed. 7 weeks tour, the longest tour I've ever done. I did really well I think, I didn't get nervous breakdown. Well... maybe once or twice I went mental and threw drinks at Robbie & Milo... So it wasn't so bad...
We walked round San Diego in the afternoon. Lots of palm trees.
This Mexican restaurant/take away place near the venue is really good, I had shredded beef burritos last time The Big Pink played in last November. I missed the taste so I came back again. They make them fresh as you order and it's cheap too.
They do really good salsa and pickles for free too.
I got 2 grilled fish tacos and shredded beef burrito. I'm gonna miss good Mexican food when I get back to London... : (
Robbie & Milo were doing some interview,
I ate my Mexican while I was waiting for them to finish and do soundcheck.
The venue Casbah is located right next to the local airport. Aeroplanes are keep going cross above our heads.
Casbah's back garden
and pool tables at the back room, I love this venue.
Leo also got us Shark tacos.
First time ever I ate sharks, it was tasty.
Outside, io echo were making more T shirts.
another plane passing.
After our soundcheck, we went to more vintage shops. But we didn't find anything.
and more food.
Then we went to a pharmacy... we got instant heat pads, sleeping in bunk beds for the last 7 weeks, we sometimes get trap nerve, I twisted my neck last week. Robbie has trap nerve on his left arm, Milo's got trap nerve on his right shoulder...
io echo just finished playing, they were great! My T shirt design of io echo on their Drum head now!
So while I'm writing my blog now, Robbie complained that he's not on my blog enough. But because he's not hanging out with me enough!!! Here you go, quick MacBook photo booth shoot. I hope he feels better. x

Sweet, freshly made t-shirts. But does the dye go funny in the wash?

Anyway, you don't have good Mexican food in London? Bummer. You have to come back and play the southeast; great eatings there.
