Tube strike outside Camden Town station. I really feel sorry for people who have to get tube to work and go home everyday..,

I was in Camden on Monday evening for the NME pub challenge.

There were 7 contestants including myself, Kate Nash, Will Mystery Jets, Rose Dougall, Martin British Sea Power etc....

It's coming out for their Christmas Issue, that's why I'm wearing the Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer outfit. I made an effort!

The winner will receive this trophy!

I can't really go into the details what we did, you have to wait and see till the issue comes out.

Unfortunately I had to retire the game after round 5... it was taking a lot longer than I expected and I really had to go to somewhere else. So This is Ash, the Big Pink press guy, I asked him to take over my position! I gave him my outfit.

I've been eating Pizza Express margarita pizza like 5 times a week.

I arrange it by adding different extra toppings each time, so I don't get bored...

This one was with cherry tomatoes, chopped chilli & basil pesto

Best Friend

Just one little text or phone call from my friends make my day brighter.I didn't go out at all in the end today but just hearing from two of my favorite friends out of blue made me smile.

Chie

It's getting very cold in London. I like sleeping with GG, he keeps me warm.

Me and GG reminds me of this Japanese Anime called "Jarinko Chie". Chie and her cat Kotetsu (little iron) are best friends.

The story is based in Osaka, the area I was born and grew up.

The main character Chie is a 10 years old girl who works on her own in her dad's small skewered BBQ restaurant after school.

because her dad is always off to a gaming club gambling,

She does admin.

I love Chie's character so much. She's a very strong independent girl. She's always full of life.

She often gets teased by these two boys.

But she doesn't let anyone mess with her.

Chie's cat Kotetsu is also a very important part in the story

He's always by Chie's side

He's really good at fighting with other cats

He always practice his fighting skills on top of the roof.

This anime is my ultimate TV program of all time. They repeat broadcasting it on Kansai (Osaka) area channels.

I went to see The Drums Wedensday Thursday 2 nights in a row at London Forum. The shows were supported by io eho and 2 other bands. Lou came with me on Wednesday.

They've been on tour non-stop since the NME awards tour this February with The Big Pink
they were so much better live from the last time I saw them, it was so good to see how bands become so big and great within a year by working hard touring constantly, building up their fan base and profile.

and YES!!! Connor trashed his drum kit on stage!

I was showing him pictures of my kit I trashed a while ago, he said he has never trashed his kit before, he couldn't care enough for the band. But Wednesday night, he trashed his kit!!!

We hung out in the dressing room for a bit and said good bye.

1am, io echo finished packing up and stored their gear in Dalston. (they are borrowing my drums and some of the big pink gear)

We were all so starving. So we went for a late night Turkish dinner, the restaurant just round the corner from The Big Pink storage space/near my house.

They have a proper stone stove & charcoal grill, and check out they are grilling orange peel with charcoal for fragrance...

Starter to share... Hummus, Cacik (yogurt and cucumber dip), Taramosalata (cod roe dip), Grilled Halloumi Cheese etc etc.

and Main course for Kebab with rice! They were all so good.

Everyone really enjoyed the meal.
