Loved up

Last show of 12 days French tour last night in Rennes.

We had the perfect ending for the tour. Lots of accidents. I cut inside my lips,

check how swollen my right upper lip is. It was so painful.

This drunken guy called Vincent knocked my microphone and hit my lips so hard.

Dom broke bass drum skin, then I broke 2 guitar strings during the set...I had to use Simon's spare guitar Firebird, it was so massive on me I looked like a toddler,

the venue was so cool

they had very nice beer

the interior of the bar upstairs were so good

we went back to Yannick's apartment to drink some more,

in the morning Mary and Simon (the picture above in the middle who made the poster of the Rennes show) made us nice breakfast, nice coffee and Mary cut my hair, she used to be a hair dresser!

Back to the venue to pick our gear up, but the guy who runs the bar didn't show up. We waited outside for 4 hours, we called him so many times, called everyone we could think of to get hold of him... we finally found a guy had the spare key of the bar and got our gear out. It was so stressful.

We missed our Euro tunnel booking time.

While we were waiting for the bar manager, me and Dom got sushi for lunch, the Japanese restaurant near the venue was doing a very good deal for takeaway.

I ordered these 2 sushi box,

and they came with 2 miso soup, 2 very nice carrot & cabbage salad and a box of plain rice (kind of a bit weird getting a box of plain rice with sushi). Also it was 10% off the price with Takeaway!!!

Me and Dom were talking about getting sushi from that restaurant from the night before, so it made us extra happy to get all these and it was so yummy. It made us cheer up. (Simon still couldn't get enough of bread, cheese & ham, so he was eating some kind of panini from a cafe)

Rennes was also very beautiful city.

the whole tour was very fun, and playing our last show at Rennes was perfect.

I'm not very good at explaining how much I enjoyed the tour right at the moment... My brain is fried up with nice exhaustion feelings. I want to say big thank you to everyone who got involved in this tour. Such an amazing experience yet again. I love being in a band. I love playing shows. I love touring. I'm such a lucky bitch. I know.

on the way back to London, we had this very nice 2 bottles of red wine our fans Solange & Laurent gave us in Martigny, Switzerland. The wine was from Martigny.
