Summer Veggie

What's your summer food? Aubergine, Tomato and Basil make me feel summer! I made quick spaghetti with those vegetables & white fish with loads of olive oil. You can get frozen white fish from Iceland really cheap, 6~7 for £3!

I am Pentagon

I went to ATP festival I'll Be Your Mirror at Alexandra Palace on Sunday. I really really love The Make Up. They reformed this year to perform at this show I'll Be Your Mirror, I couldn't possibly ever ever ever have missed seeing them!!! 3 original members - Ian Svenonius on vocals, Michelle Mae on bass and James Canty on guitar & keys. The drummer Steve Gamboa apparently moved to Indonesia, so there was a new person.

They were so amazing. Their stage performance was so charismatic. They always have uniforms and looks so good. They were wearing purple shirts with dark grey suits. Here are some videos I took from last night. I want to share with you. x

Summerly Salad

I love the weather, so sunny and hot! Selection of summerly salad I made, so nice to eat and drink outside with friends after work!

I made 3 salads, this is potato salad.

I added boiled eggs, my uncle used to do it. I used to love my uncle's potato salad.

Don't break eggs too small. it's nicer that way! add mayonnaise, mustard, fresh lemon juice, salt & pepper. (also those sliced veggie, before you add in mashed potato, sprinkle bit of salt and mix them, squeeze and rest them) 

King prawn, avocado, cherry tomato salad with cocktail sauce.

to make cocktail sauce: Mix ketchup, horseradish sauce, fresh lemon juice and dash of tabasco & worcester sauce, it's so tasty and easy to make!

I don't know how well known Bob is, he might be a bit too underground for most of people to know who he is. But in my world, he's one of the coolest guys exists in the whole world. He lives in San Francisco. Here is my blog post about him back in 2009, it explains who he is and how we started becoming friends.

Thank you so much Bob. I'm so lucky to have a friend like you.

So... I kept this quiet for so long. But YES!!! Comanechi are releasing a new single in summer and 2nd album hopefully in Autumn, I can't really tell too much yet until everything is all sorted. But Simon and me have been working really hard to get everything moving.

Today we are making a music video for the single with Ollie Evans at my room. Just 3 of us working.

I've just finished my drum part. Now Simon is doing his guitar part. We've still got loads left to do though.
